Carlie Groover A few years ago, I signed up to take a painting class with Barb Dickerson, just as a lark. I had never taken an art class and did not know even how to hold a brush. I intended to paint one painting only and told Barb that was all I wanted to do. After that first painting, however, I knew that I had found what I wanted to do with the rest of my life. I kept taking classes from her; and six years later, after having sold more than 30 paintings, I am still taking lessons from Barb and always will. She has a way of sharing her knowledge and leading her students to be better than they could have ever imagined. Barb has taught me everything that I know, and I know that there is so much more to be learned from her. Her patient instruction and guidance have truly changed my life in so many ways and on so many levels. Thank you, Barb |
